FlyArystan Carried Its 20 Millionth Passenger

In October 2025, Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan marked an important milestone – carrying its 20 millionth passenger.

Richard Ledger, President of JSC "FlyArystan" : "Twenty million passengers in six years – that’s a number comparable to the population of Kazakhstan. It reflects our contribution to the development of domestic and international air connectivity, the expansion of our regional route network, and the growing mobility of citizens. Notably, one third of these passengers purchased their tickets for up to 15,000 tenge. For millions of people, this made it possible to fly for the first time. This fact reinforces our vision – we inspire people to explore new horizons by creating safe and easy travel".

Today, FlyArystan operates flights to 14 cities across Kazakhstan. The air company’s international network includes destinations in China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia. Among the new regular and seasonal routes launched in 2025 are: Almaty – Yining, Karaganda – Istanbul, Astana – Gazipasa, Atyrau – Tashkent, Almaty – Tamchy (Issyk-Kul), and Aktau – Dubai.

In 2024 alone, more than 4.2 million passengers flew with FlyArystan, accounting for 46.6% of the total passenger traffic of Air Astana Group.

Since January 2025, JSC "FlyArystan" has operated as a separate air company under the FS code, having obtained its own Air Operator Certificate. In June, the low-cost carrier was named the Best Low-Cost Airline in Central Asia and the CIS for the third time by the Skytrax World Airline Awards.
